Join Interfaith Paths to Peace and Adath Jeshurun for a Night of Storytelling from Jewish storyteller Noa Baum and Muslim storyteller Arif Choudhury as they build bridges and foster connections.
8:00 PM - PRESENTATION
Enjoy a dynamic interfaith presentation "In the Heart of the Other: A Muslim and a Jew Sharing Stories" and learn about the important work of Interfaith Paths to Peace.
9:30 PM - HAVDALAH CEREMONY & REFRESHMENTS
Havdalah is a Jewish ceremony that marks the symbolic end of Sabbath and ushers in the new week. The ritual involves lighting a special Havdalah candle, blessing wine, and smelling sweet spices.
10:00 PM - (Optional) SELICHOT WORSHIP SERVICE - All are Welcome! Selichot are Jewish poems and prayers, especially those said in the period leading up to the High Holidays.
